Chocolate Macaroons with Sprouted Flaxseed

A quick and fun treat, with a healthy kick!

  • 1c. sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1/4c. butter or coconut oil
  • 1/4c. milk or coconut milk
  • 3 Tbsp. Cocoa
  • 1/4tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/2c. chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/2c. flaked coconut
  • 1-1/4c. rolled oats
  • 1/4c. Back 2 the Garden Sprouted Flaxseed Powder

In saucepan combine sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa. Bring just to a boil. Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla. In bowl, combine nuts, coconut, and rolled oats. Stir in cocoa mixture.
Cover baking sheet with parchment paper, or greased cookie sheet. Chill until set.
